Carbon Screener^TM provides you with full control over how you want to explore our knowledge base. Based on a state-of-the-art Business Intelligence software, you can slice and dice the data in any way you wish. The screener has 2 main components:

• Analysis views
• 1-click report generation

1. Analysis Views 

Analysis views extract the information from the database and presents it in the form of a 'data cube'. It aggregates data at various sector levels and calculates the averages. We can create an unlimited views for you to explore our data and you are empowered to customize the views and save them so that every time you login, they appear as with your preferences.

A typical view looks like this:

The '+' signs simply invite you to drill down on any sector you wish. The numbers that appear are dynamically calculated from the sub-set of the data. By clicking on any number, you can see the details of the calculation.

A typical sector drill-down sequence would result in the following view:

On the above picture, you can see the sector averages for the "Automobiles & Parts" sector level as well as the averages for "Auto Parts" only sector.

You can flip columns/rows to change the display and export the data in Excel for further manipulations:

The screenshot below shows you the 1-click feature to view data in a chart view (in this case on a select range of EU ETS installations):

The analysis views also let you select exactly which companies you want to compare. You could for example only select companies that you hold in a particular investment portfolio for example:
