Based on our high volume of data, we can provide detailed statistics:

• Different sector classification methods (ICB, ISIC, NAICS,...) for optimal comparison

Corporate-level Emissions Data

Our knowledge base holds official emissions data at the corporate level of 1,300 companies in 80 sectors and 40 countries (as of June 2010). Full details of the latest Direct Emissions (Scope 1), Indirect Emissions (Scope 2), MWh Electricity consumed or Other Indirect Emissions (Scope 3) can be explored online. This data has been collected by our analysts and annotated (e.g. boundary considerations, methodology used).

Factory / Facility level EU ETS Data

Today, ETS data is published at the facility level and in some countries, it is very difficult to trace back to which company these facilities belong. We have completed the tedious mapping of 5,000 facilities to 2,155 companies and can now offer you a simple search by company name to see all allocations and verifications of their facilities.

ETS credits are also poorly organised with a limited sector classification. Our value-add has been to organise them using a rich international standard classification (ISIN, covering 80 sectors).

CDM project details and statistics

We have details of 6,000 CDM projects showing for each technology (or initiative) what the expected CO2 saving is, what the cost per CO2 is projected to be. We have digested this data for you and expose it all through our intuitive 'slide and dice' interface, similar to EU ETS or corporate emissions data.
