Once logged in, you can benchmark any of the 80 sectors we cover by selecting grid electricity supply and company size.

For example, if you are a clothes designer with manufacturing operations in India and retail stores in France, you could estimate your emissions based on the officially published carbon data of some of your peers:

  • Select "Manufacturing of Wearing Apparel", choose India as the country and enter the number of employees working in India. 
  • Select "Retail etc...", choose France as the country and enter the number of employees working in the stores in France.

The graphs will show you how other manufacturers would be performing with your input parameters and you can pick the ones you find are most comparable to your company. All data displayed is based on the official carbon data published by these companies. All we do is perform simple arithmetics to adjust these for the size and the location you entered. For example, we use the MWh published by a company and multiply it by the TCO2/MWh of the country you selected to come to a Scope 2 Emissions number, after adjusting it for the size you entered.
